What is United States of Bohica?
Is it political? Is it a personal blog? Is it a group of bloggers?
Sometimes it can be political, sometimes it is personal reflection based on the life of a military family, and eventually the .com may become a place where we have sub-blogs within the community,
hopefully.
BOHICA was a term first coined by the military when bureaucracy sometimes wrenched the mission or a military member's personal plans. Mission first isn't always fun, but it is taken with good humor
here.
So when we say 'united states of BOHICA' here, we do not mean our country, but the united determination we have (we, family and friends) to deal with what comes our way, united and standing strong
for one another, or speaking about 'the issues' even when we may disagree.
(Sometimes we wish we had chosen a less controversial page name, but we picked it before there were tea parties and before we were sure of what we wanted to do with the page. We just thought the
headline was funny, and we needed some humor during a time when many friends and loved ones were being shipped overseas.)
